You know the drill. Usually I DO add people back, but don't get offended if I don't do so right away. I've had some people disappear off my friends list so it takes me a while to find out and clean it up before I add new people, so. >D

And if you're ALREADY in my list, don't worry about it.

I know, I moved the banners in the wrong place (in my profile instead of in my journal) because I'm dumb.

Thank you, [info]audioventchick for clarifying this for me. ^^;

I don't like people with homophobia, stalkers, pedophiles or perverts, so go away.

Sleepy Amelia and Lina
Thank you [info]inuyasha_kun, for the really awesome Slayers 'friends only' banner. I uploaded it to my server.

Gimme some hugs, people!

And a technical question. How do you officially lock your journal to friends only? As in, no one can friend you unless they comment?

Or better yet, how do you ban someone from commenting on your journal?

I am tired. I have been tired all day because I did not get enough sleep last night. I may turn in early tonight. I took my brother to go see Barnyard today. It's a cute movie.

Together again.
I'M HOME!

It is so good to be back on American soil, I swear I could kiss it. XD

In Taiwan time, we left at five in the afternoon. My dad drove us to the airport, saw us off, and we walked around the airport once our luggage were taken away. I got lucky as there was a Subway, so my mom let me have a small orange soda and a six-inch turkey sandwich. They had to be out of meatball.

My brother had bought a pack of cards a few days ago, so he taught me how to play a few card games. I was surprised, and they actually turned out to be quite fun. And it was a good way to pass the time since we were way early. He's getting pudgy. He used to be really skinny when he was younger, like a skeleton, but now he's gotten bigger. He's eating too much these days. >_>

Ugh, I swear to God, I am NEVER eating food on the airplane again. I got really airsick and wanted to vomit. x.x Luckily, I didn't. The flight was about ten hours long, and it wasn't too bad, but it was still rather uncomfortable.

Worse, thanks to those damn terrorists, we couldn't bring any electronics, gels or liquids on board the plane. I thought I would die of boredom without my CD-player. I slept, or tried to, for half of the flight. I really hate flying economy. If only they made the seats a little more comfortable. I'd love to fly first-class, but it's expensive. Plus, getting home was more important.

They showed three movies to what I've seen. I think the first one was Mission Impossible III (I don't care for it), then The Wild (which is a total rip-off of Madagascar, which is a whole lot better), and RV. I only watched part of it for Robin Williams.

We safely arrived at San Francisco's airport at eight in the evening. I had forgotten that Taiwan is like a day ahead of us, it's still Sunday. o.o;

I am NOT flying to Taiwan again for at least a few more years. I actually survived six weeks over there, but I couldn't stay another day. I was getting really homesick.

Need to graduate from college and work on attending San Jose State soon. We're temporarily staying at my childhood friend Joanna's house I had mentioned before we left, until my mom finds a new apartment. It's nice here, and her parents kind to us, especially to me. I get my own room, and her father was kind enough to set up my computer and hard drive, and install Internet for me.

It is good to be home.

Oh, here's my newest character stamp.

Together again.
Amelia is a lot like her father, and Naga is a lot like her mother.

Finally, something else that makes sense.

So I told my parents about my plan to move out. They went off, going on about 'You know how expensive it is? How will you afford it? If you get a job, will it be enough for rent and food? Who are these friends whom you'll be living with?' That last question was from my father who was mostly worried about what type of people Zari and Tommy are. *eyerolls*

Thanks for trusting me, Dad. -_-

Obviously, they weren't too thrilled, but once I patiently asked them to wait until we've worked out all the details, they calmed down. I told them we'll be going to San Jose State together, and that gave me some good points.

My mom expects me to send her some money for support since she won't be working. She has to stay home and watch my brother, meaning she has to rely on financial support from my dad. Works for me.

Hey, I'll be visiting. At least to stay in touch.

We're leaving for the airport in about six hours. This is my last entry until then.
12th-Aug-2006 06:33 pm - Could it be a bad omen?
OH WOES!
Two or three days ago, the biggest fish in the fish tank died. It was really old, about three years or more.

Two days ago, I watched the news about the terrorist plot.

This morning, we had a short power outage.

All of this had happened right before we catch our flight back to California.

Should I be worried? Maybe it's some awful omen. ._.
12th-Aug-2006 01:22 pm - Stupid father.
Together again.
I swear, my dad is the nosiest (spelling?) person on the planet. -.-

He's worse than my mom. All the more reason for me to make plans and move in with some friends once we return to California. I cannot wait. -.- We're supposed to be house-hunting next September.
11th-Aug-2006 04:01 pm - Terrorist bombing.
Together again.
I just heard about more terrorist bombing that happened somewhere in England. I saw it on the news on the TV when Mom took me back to the laser eye center for my final appointment.

Because of this, we have to leave three hours early to the airport before our midnight flight on Sunday because of the heightened security measures.

God, I hope nothing bad happens during our trip back to the US.

*sighs*

When will it end?

Why does terrorism continue?

Will we ever have world peace? When will this vicious cycle of terrorism and war end?

It's almost 2007, and too many lives have already been taken.
10th-Aug-2006 06:17 pm - K, a fun little tag game thing.
Together again.
Taken from [info]sonozaki.

2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag three people.

Eh, why not.

I ran upstairs and grabbed from my room Living History: Hillary Rodham Clinton. It took me a week to finish it.

He later became a successful lawyer in Los Angeles and served as Chairman of Bill's 1992 presidential campaign. As if that weren't enough, Bill and I were also trying to have a baby. We both love children, and anyone with kids knows there is never a "convenient" time to start a family.

I tag [info]inuyasha_kun, [info]secondlina and [info]pinkified next. I just picked these names at random. You don't have to do this if you don't want to.
10th-Aug-2006 02:06 pm - Yahoo accounts.
Together again.
Does anyone know how or if it's possible to delete a Yahoo e-mail account?

I have two that I don't want to use anymore and I don't want to keep deleting spam since I now use gmail.

Help? ._.
9th-Aug-2006 09:03 pm - New RPG.
Together again.
About four or five months ago, I joined Slayers Lost Realm, which is, or was, a Slayers RPG over at Great Journal. Obviously, I had jumped at the chance of taking Amelia. I was excited and couldn't wait to start. It was my first RPG for any journal.

Unfortunately, two months later in late April, the RPG died. Just as we had gotten started, people just stopped posting. It happened when we lost our Xellos player. I didn't think it was such a huge deal, and that we didn't have to stop just because he left. But even when I made my post, everyone stopped doing anything.

It was a big disappointment for all of us, especially for me. *sighs* I go back sometimes to check the place out, and it's the same. Everyone had abandoned the RPG. I'm surprised it's still there.

Now I recently joined another RPG, Sapphis Castle, which is also at Great Journal. Check it out. You need to type in the name to find it. Hopefully this time the place will not die. I'm waiting for others to make their first posts before I do. I need inspiration.
